I’m jealous of your greenhouse – probably 4 times the size of mine.

  2. Wow Gilly, what a gorgeous greenhouse you have. And you’ve been quite busy sowing I see. Love the floor!

  3. Gilly, what a great greenhouse, it just makes me want to hide in there on a rainy day.

  4. Ok, you’ve got this fabulous greenhouse, but you’re still living in the potting shed. I’d probably just move in here!

Is this glazed or is it plastic on the windows? I like the long skinny design.

    • Sarah: the windows are glass, but the roof is double-skinned polycarbonate, which cuts out some of the sun’s glare and hopefully will stand up better than glass to the large hailstones we are told happen here but we have yet to see. It is a better insulant in winter too.

  5. What a soothing space.

  6. Thank you all for your kind comments. I’m glad you like it too.

  7. Your greenhouse is a treat. What an inviting place, not just for plants, but for a person to get away to. I agree with Sarah from Toronto, I’d just move into the greenhouse!

  8. wow, that is a fantastic greenhouse…I’ve always dreamt of having one…we just put up a small garden shed in our backyard, and I was happy to have that…but a greenhouse would be really something…here in Sydney it would be used to keep the flowers away from the heat rather than the other way around! I think they call them shade houses here…

  9. Perhaps I will move into the greenhouse, it is so gorgeous. Now, what colour curtains shall I have???

  10. There’s nothing quite like a greenhouse. Yours looks most cosy and inviting and what a great floor!

  11. gorgeousness itself – am jealous
